Personal Bio

I absolutely love being a professional school counselor!  In high school, mainly my senior year, I stayed in the counseling office. Not because I was in trouble but because I wanted to know about every several scholarship I could apply for.  Fast forward,  I have specialized in College and Scholarships for most of my counseling career.  I know how important it is to have access and information.  I have recently begun to get more informed on Career Development.  Not every student will go to college but every student needs to be aware of the opportunities that are available to them.  It is my pleasure to be of assistance to help students and guardians navigate high school and beyond.

Resume Template for High School Students

A high school resume is more than just a list of accomplishments to pass along to colleges. It’s a snapshot of who you are, what you’re passionate about, and how you spend your time. Because admission to college is so highly selective today due to the marked increase of students applying for the limited open slots, it is crucial that you find a way to stand apart from all of the other applicants. A high school resume can help you do that. It is one of the most important marketing tools that you can use in selling yourself. Essentially your resume provides a snapshot picture of the "real" you.
Have you received any College Acceptance Letters? Scholarship Awards? Or completed your FAFSA? Enlisted in the Military? We want to acknowledge you for your goals towards your future careers. Each counseling office has a drop box (Picture attached). You can place copies of those documents in the box. This is will also help us with Senior Awards Night.

We will create pennants for you based on the acceptances/enlistments and they will be placed in a display case for everyone to see!

Attached are also samples of College Acceptance Letters, Scholarship Awards and the SAR (Student Aid Report) that you get once you complete the FAFSA.

You can also email these items to your counselors to be placed in the box. We just want to receive the information
