Legacy High School Joshua D. Phillips Memorial Scholarship  
Legacy High School Clark County, Nevada, College bound seniors who participated in sports and have a 3.5 or higher GPA may apply for this scholarship. One scholarship in the amount of $1,000 will be awarded.

US Senate Youth Scholarship - $10,000
Only 2 students in the state are chosen for this scholarship that includes $10,000, plus a week-long trip to Washington DC! Students must be in school government or other civic organizations to apply.

HEAN/RMHLV Scholarship
HEAN (Hispanic Educators Association of NV) in conjunction with Ronald McDonald Charities offer a $1,000 scholarship to Hispanic/Latino students who are pursuing education as their college major.
 
Students must apply through the Ronald McDonald Charities link at https://rmhlv.org/scholarship-program and complete an additional essay, 500 words or less:  "Why do you want to become a teacher? What will you, as a Hispanic teacher offer your students that others cannot?"
 
Other criteria:  Have at least one parent of Hispanic/Latino heritage, have a minimum 3.0 GPA, demonstrate financial need, and declare a major in education.  The deadline is January 19, 2019.

The BookNV.com scholarship is for any students matriculating into UNR, TMCC, or CSN. 1 in 50 students who apply will receive one free semester worth of textbooks for whichever college they end up attending Fall 2019. There are no minimum requirements; students just need to plan on attending one of the three listed NV colleges. We'll be awarding recipients in late May and notifying them via whichever email is provided in the scholarship form. Applying takes less than 5 minutes at BookNV.com!

High School seniors with interest and action in environmental programs, clubs, education, awareness, or related may apply for this at:
