TRiO Educational Talent Search Program

Contact Ms. CiCi Morgan at cmorgan@interact.ccsd.net for more information.

The UNLV TRiO Educational Talent Search (ETS) program is one of several federally funded college prep programs.  This FREE college prep program is designed to identify and provide services for individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds in middle school and high school who have the potential to succeed in higher education. The goal of ETS is to increase the number of disadvantaged youth who complete high school and enroll in and complete their post-secondary education.

TRiO is not a club or after school program or a program that will interfere with other academic focused classes or extra curricular activities.  The program provides support to students that are college bound.  Interested students can pick up an application from the LIBRARY office located upstairs.  The completed application should be returned back to the LIBRARY office to Ms. CiCi or in the RED TRiO box in the LIBRARY office.  Eligible students must have and maintain at least a 2.0 GPA or higher and be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident of the United States at the time of application.

At Legacy High School, the ETS program provides services to actively enrolled students in grades 9 thru 12.  Services are provided during the school day to support the individual needs of participants to assist them with preparing for graduation and to apply and attend college.  Services provided include but are not limited to the following:
